| How long will it take
This depends on the availability shown for each
item, and the despatch options that you select
(see below). In general terms it is the availability
time for the item, plus the time that it takes
to despatch the item as shown in the table below.
Postage Costs
The table below illustrates the costs that should
be added onto the total order value of the selected
goods for postage and packing. The delivery methods
available for selection will be limited depending
on the country that the goods are being delivered
to, as some methods are only applicable for certain
countries.
Postage can be calculated by taking the cost
per delivery and then adding that to the number
of items in a delivery multiplied by the cost
per item. It is the customers responsibility to
complete the order forms accurately and honestly.
Failiure to do so will mean either your order
can not be processed, or we will charge you the
relevant postage.

A very limited number of books on the site are
very heavy in terms of weight. If the book(s)
you have chosen fall into this category the postage
costs for this service will be higher than indicated
on your order confirmation. We will email you
to confirm the actual costs before despatching
the order.
Heavy Items
All normal types of item will be charged at the
Cost Per Item, except in those circumstances where
excessive weight prohibits this. Costs for such
items will be displayed prior to you confirming
your order.
Multi Volume Sets
Please note that postage for multi volume sets
will not be charged at the displayed rate. Each
single volume will incur an item charge relevant
to the country to which it is being sent to, and
the method of despatch chosen by the customer.
Ordering items with
different availabilities
If you order items that do not have the same availability
time you may select how your items are delivered
to you, as this will have an impact on your delivery
charges. This option can be selected on the checkout
pages when you also select the method of delivery.
All delivery charges displayed and calculated
on the site are based on a single delivery, and
so if your order is despatched in more than one
consignment your charges will be higher than those
shown.
Option 1 - Despatch Items as soon as they
are ready
If you select this option, we will send items
as soon as they are available for despatch. This
may result in numerous despatches and so we will
charge the relevant cost per delivery for each
individual despatch. However, we will endeveour
to keep these costs to a minimum by checking for
availability of all items in an order before sending
to make sure that if more than one item becomes
available at the same time only one physical despatch
is made.
Option 2 - Do not despatch until all of my
order is ready
Choosing this option means that we will wait until
all of your items in an order are ready for despatch
before sending any of it. This means that the
time you will have to wait for all items will
be the longest availability time for any item
selected displayed on the site, plus the time
for despatch as shown in the above table. However,
this means that postage charges will be reduced
and will not exceed the amount shown and calculated
on the site (except where an innapropriate method
has been chosen). |
