An early translation of the Abhidhammattha Sangaha, one of the most important Abhidhamma commentaries, a condensed theoretical work that complements the Visuddhimagga. Originally published in 1910. For hundreds of years this work has served as a primer of Buddhist psychology and philosophy, particularly in Sri Lanka and Burma, and a whole literature of exegesis has grown up around it. It is attributed to the Buddhist master Anuruddha.
