Padma Karpo Translation Committee has published a series of sixteen books, each containing one or more Tibetan texts in translation. The Tibetan texts were chosen for their importance and cover a variety of subjects: refuge, bodhicitta, and the view in both sutra and tantra. The series also contains many texts on the practice of Mahamudra and innermost Dzogchen. Most of the texts in the series are key texts which have not been translated before.
The author, the fully qualified Western lama Tony Duff, selected the texts based on his extensive knowledge of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. His thought was to provide profound dharma which is not readily accessible in higher-than-usual quality publications specifically for practitioners. The books feature excellent design, attention to detail, and better-than-usual papers, inks, and so on. The books also have beautiful colour plates showing wall murals in Tibet which were taken by the author and have not previously been seen in the West.
